Within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, he/she has to support the development of SAR Processing & Post Processing tools.
- Developing scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing and, in particular, for not standard geometries/operative modes
- Developing SAR simulator
- Prototyping, implementing and testing of processing chains and generation of value-added products
- Processing and analysis of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data
- Writing technical documents, project reports.
Language: fluent English, spoken and written
The ideal candidate has to be educated to Engineering master degree, preferentially with a Ph.D., at least five years of job experience in SAR signal processing. In addition, a distinctly propensity to team working is required, jointly with strong analytical and technical skills, problem solving capability, solid knowledge of statistical methods for temporal and spatial analysis of scientific data. Open minded to different cultures in working, she/he always is required to use a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.
