Our Melbourne CBD site is home to over 500 employees working across our Air Traffic Management, Vehicles & Tactical Systems and E-Security businesses. This opportunity is within our Air Traffic Management (ATM) business based in Melbourne. Our mission is to manufacture and deliver Air Traffic Management solutions globally and also domestically in Australia. OneSKY is a game-changer for Australia’s airspace. The project will unify Australian skies under a new, harmonised air traffic management system. This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. It will be the catalyst for better connectivity to underpin Australia’s sustainable growth into the future. OneSKY will transform Australia’ sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.
We are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team as part of our Technical Directorate in the ATM business and working on the OneSky project. The role is focused on the definition of engineering choices and solutions made in bids, programs and studies. Our Senior Solution Architect also has a focus on developing our team of solution architects, conducting solution architecture and technical review, solving complex technical problems in the system of systems domain. Additionally the Senior Solution Architect ensures that the design of our solutions satisfy our customer needs and contractual requirements whilst remaining cost effective. There will be a focus on risk qualification and quantification and mitigation actions also.
- You hold a degree in engineering or computer science with solid experience in systems engineering, software engineering or integration on complex software centric real-time systems
- You have significant experience supporting the design of solutions for complex systems of systems
- You have worked for a large complex organisation and have the proven capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
- Your experience covers writing and reviewing technical documentation
- You are a coach, enjoy working as part of a team, you are highly motivated and you are resilient under pressure
