The NCPI Project Manager is responsible for introduction of new IBS, non-standard customer products to production, meeting quality standards and according committed schedules. NCPI Project Manager has two customers to be served. First one being external customer; by defining and delivering product that meets customer expectation. And the second one being any Thales DIS Manufacturing Site; by having positive contribution on manufacturing site’s targets for productivity and yields improvement and CONQ reduction                                                   

Main role:

  • Leading industrialization project for a new customer product introduction, from design creation to first customer delivery
    • In coordination with IMT / R&D, if needed
    • Interface btw Business Line / Documents Delivery team and Manufacturing site
  • Defining technical product
  • Finding agreement on Quality, by combining Customer requirements and Plant capability
  • Delivering customer samples for approvals (any intermediate samples needed, print proofs on site)
  • Making pilot and first delivery happen, according to set quality criteria

You need to have:

  • Bachelor or master level in a suitable technical field, such as printing, electronics or discrete manufacturing, engineering
  • Technical background and some manufacturing experience (> 3 years)
  • Certificate on project management field
  • Project management skills and proven track record
  • Product engineering experience and / or knowledge
  • Several interfaces in manufacturing sites and in business unit

You need to be:

  • Fluent in English in order to effortlessly communicate verbally or in writing with external and internal customers
  • Communicative, cooperating
  • Autonomic, committed and driven by objectives
  • Able to work in a team, in an international environment
  • Able to travel (10 – 30 days/year), to support manufacturing site in introduction and to support delivery team in customer meetings, design workshops especially
  • Able to network and find the right ways to communicate and influence, whenever needed
  • Able to create networks
  • Open to people and their cultural diversity
  • Stress resistant
